Publication design.

The client required the development and design of a product catalogue to accompany their collection of Indigenous artworks exhibited with Arts of Australia.

The catalogue features fifteen artworks with correlating artist information that needed to be presented in a concise manner. It was therefore critical to create a layout formed with a strong grid structure that would compliment each image and allow for plenty of whitespace to highlight these artworks.

As the artworks are the primary focus of each page, the typographic combination needed to be subtle. Pairing a light sans displayed in all caps with a light serif typeface provided the best solution, allowing the information to be presented in a clean and well-structured manner.
